Dear Diary,

I had some issues yesterday, but I found after discussing them with a trusted friend and my dad, it helped release some of my angst. I have always believe that everything happens for a reason and I am not going to give up on that now.

As my mom used to say, “all will be revealed.”

The dog trainer, Al Longoria, came to the house yesterday to do a 2-hour free consultation with Loki. He is amazing. I saw a change in Loki within a half hour. It was great.

He told us there are some dogs who are set in their ways and he can’t train them. However, he said Loki was willing to learn and that was a good thing.

We have our first training session on Saturday.

If you can believe it, I am still coughing. Guh. But I thank the sweet baby Jesus that I am not going backwards. I am still upright and that is a good thing.

It’s Greg’s birthday and I feel so lucky and blessed to have not just a co-worker like him, but a great friend.

I look forward to going to work and that is a gift to me.
